Here's a small selection of the reviews that recent visitors to The Forbidden Corner have left over at the Trip Advisor review site.
"This place is great... I think you could go back time and time again and still see it differently each time. We will be visiting next year when we are back over that way."slciom. 31/07/2010
"...loved it! Highest recommendation, 2 kids age 9 and 12, two parents, two grandparents in our group."MoonRiverRoundhead. 15/07/2010
"The Forbidden Corner is full of fun and surprises for all ages. Very good value for money, superb food in the cafe and makes you feel like a kid again!"rodneyuplonker03. 02/07/2010
"The Forbidden Corner is a nice day out with a lovely drive to get there. You wander through gardens, mazes and underground tunnels looking for all the items on the clue sheet. The whole family definitely enjoyed the trip."expatmonkey. 06/06/2010
"We had lunch in the cafe which was good value as they had really made an effort with the menu to get in locally sourced food. My wife had a pie that was divine and I had fish chips and mushy peas fish was like a whale!! The shop had reasonable prices and a good selection (not the usual tack) dont be put off its a really unusual place like nothing I have visited."huntergreenwellies. 27/05/2010
"An unusual and quirky attraction that my family has been to a few times and love visiting again. This is not a theme park with rides etc but a folly with paths to follow, clues to find and an amazing underground labyrinth with tunnels, hidden doors and surprises. They restrict the amount of people going in so as not to spoil any surprises so pre booking is essential. A great day out."markwood. 22/02/2010
And here a few more taken from the Review Centre website.
"What a surprise! Our Son, Daughter-in-law and 2 Granddaughters had visited once before and were sure my Husband and I would love it. We did!! It was such splendid fun. From the first 'find' and surprise!! to the last 'joke' we enjoyed every minute and will have no hesitation in returning again in the future. We laughed all afternoon. Hope to find something similar (but a bit different) in the South. Would recommend (and have) to anyone visiting the area. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes."Anon
"Just been to Forbidden Corner today with my husband and son of 11. Had the most fantastic time and I would recommend it to anyone who has a touch of magic in their soul. I loved the fact that I saw kids, adults and teens all having a ball trying to live up to the challenge of negotiating the tunnels, passages and mazes and solve all the clues! The whole point is that there is no map or set way to do this - you just have to live in the moment and see where it takes you."Anon
"...excellent, quite scary for children but very entertaining, for all ages toilets were immaculate as was the food and the prices of the food was very good too, would go again."Anon
"The Forbidden Corner is a fantastic day out for all the family kept us all out of mischief for a couple of hours! Too many good points to mention! The kids get lots of exercise in the fresh air and they loved taxing their brains with the cryptic clues. Fascinating and magical like entering a whole other world."Anon
