TRAVEL UPDATE – MIDDLEHAM BRIDGE CLOSED

Please be aware that Middleham Bridge is currently closed after being struck by a lorry. The closure may remain in place for some time while the damage is assessed and repairs are carried out.

The Forbidden Corner is OPEN as usual and remains fully accessible.

For the easiest route to us, we recommend approaching from the A1 via Ripon and Masham, continuing on towards Middleham and The Forbidden Corner.

If travelling from the Leyburn side, you will NOT be able to cross Middleham Bridge, so please plan an alternative route and allow some extra time for your journey.

We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we receive further information about the bridge reopening.
